All projects of CONFUSIUS.ORG are related to the Thesis of Zhang
Qizhi, a modern confucian
from China. Our project "I Ching - Chi" shall be an
example how to respect old wisdom, but
also with respect to the history of mankind.
What we want to do is programming a little logical labyrinth guiding
through the 64 hexagrams.
Of course we will be not so close to any translation of the text
of the I Ching. We try an own
thing. It is our opinion that all original Chinese versions of
the I Ching are truly no absolute
versions - it is a book of changes!
The popular I Ching-version today is still a version from old
times when old China was a
patriarchal society. But we think, that those times are over and
we shall try a deconstruction
and a version with equal rights relating to gender problems.
This project is our answer to the first thesis of Zhang Qizhi,
who insists on remembering and understanding old wisdom. Especially
we hope to understand the relation between "chi" and
"I Ching". So what is the logic of changes, the logic
of floating energy....
